Masjid Darul Quran’s Guide for Islamic Funeral Arrangements
During this emotional time, we find solace in the words of Allah (swt) and Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), knowing that Allah’s plan is perfect and encompasses every moment. We strive to depart as believers, as expressed in the prayer of Prophet Yusuf (AS), “Creator of the heavens and earth, You are my protector in this world and in the Hereafter. Cause me to die a Muslim and join me with the righteous.”
In accordance with the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), we remind those on their deathbed to recite the Shahadah, hoping it will be their last words. Attending Janaza prayers and following the processions are among the five rights of a believer, leading to great rewards, as emphasized by the Prophet (ﷺ).
Masjid Darul Quran values the importance of a proper Islamic burial and supports grieving families throughout the process. Our services include full burial arrangements, transportation of the body, washing and shrouding, securing burial permits, and more.
